Bossa nova is often reduced to a mood. The harmony changes, melodies drift and the cultural context gets lost along the way.
Bossa Lab starts with a practical response: reliable musical materials made easier to find and use, alongside opportunities for people to meet, play, exchange knowledge and develop new collaborations.
The project begins in Finland and welcomes musicians, artists, producers, educators, organizers and listeners who want to enjoy bossa nova while understanding it more deeply.
